The Portuguese Pioneers Gallery is a meeting point where Lusocanadians find part of their immigrant narrative and their roots. From all over Canada, stories come from so many other pioneers, who visit us and share with us. Recently the Gallery was visited by a Canadian family from Vancouver. Three generations of the Abreu and Machado family made it a point to meet us, with the promise of taking the community of Vancouver, always looking for bridges connecting with their past, knowledge about the rich and important estate of the gallery.
