Cross Hands Architecture is a Portuguese StartUp that runs projects to promote Human Rights for refugees. They offer innovative solutions, created by “Cross Changing”: a methodic optimist co-creation method that brings people together. During the creative process, they mix technical knowledge and refugees that don’t want to be part of the problem but part of the solution. “Cross Changing” happens in several informal ways, such as, workshops, sessions, meetings…always giving voice for those, who want to have a refresher role in seeking a more effective solution for the refugee crisis. Their mission is to spread the message that everyone can be a changemaker. We want to encourage people to do something better for humanity, contributing, and co-designing for a worthier world. Work specifically for refugees is their first stage, once we believe that the power of our work has the capacity to change the unfair realities of the world. At this moment, they have two main projects: the C.H. Human Shelter focused on the refugees who live in camps; and C.H. Human Box for families who are crossing Europe, fleeing from war.
